“Dive into the healing waters of play and exploration to find new ways of being.”
How many times recently have we heard “In these uncertain times…” I laugh when I hear this. The truth is, the only certain thing in life is that life is uncertain. Uncertainty is the cause of much stress in our society, especially amongst the constant barrage of change we experience. When we resist change and resist the uncertain, we create more struggle and strife. This week we are being called to live a little more like an otter. When I think of an otter, I think of fun and play, but more than that they have a unique sense of wonder and openness. They move effortlessly from one state (water to land, land to water) – a true master of transformation. We too, are being called to adapt, to go with the flow of life around us. To play with our thinking, to be open and willing to experience life a little differently that what we are used to…and find a way to be okay with it all. It is time to let be what is, and find new ways of BEING within our new realities.
