It’s everywhere! It’s everywhere!
Seriously, it really is everywhere. It’s above us, below us, to our left, to our right, it’s inside of us, and all around us…there is so much to be thankful for. We’ve woken this morning to a new day, a new week, a new month…a privilege that is denied to many. This breath, in this moment is a moment that we will never see again, feel again, experience again. It is precious, just as precious as the next breath and the next moment. How will you choose to spend your moments today?
When we start to focus on what we are grateful for as the day unfolds around us, it begins to multiply in our lives. The more we look for, the more we find. The more we find, the more beautiful our lives and experiences become. Not only does the feeling of gratitude and thankfulness scientifically lower our stress levels, but it opens our minds and hearts to the joy and beauty as each moment unfolds. Focusing on the good feels way better in the heart and mind than complaining all day long…and let’s be clear that what we focus on IS a choice.
