Crying is Okay
“The happiest life can have sad days. It’s always okay to cry.”
Have you ever had a moment when you are so happy you cry? So thankful, you cry? So scared, you cry? So sad, you cry? Tears are a way of the physical body translating our emotional state. We are not only a physical being, instead we are layered and our emotional, mental and spiritual bodies communicate with our physical being. Tears can be a way of decompressing the system, recalibrating our energy centers and expressing our humanity in ways that words cannot. Tears represent strength, love, courage and yes, even fear. What they do not represent is weakness. Tears are in essence, an expression of our Soul, our authenticity and our humanness. This week we are encouraged to honor our tears when they arise, no matter the trigger…and know that in doing so, we are in turn honoring our Soul.
