Together we embrace the beginning of summer and the longest day of the year with a short hike, meditation, sound, creativity, camaraderie and a bonfire in a naturally beautiful setting. Let us bring light back into our body, mind and soul and share this beautiful energy with each other.

Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, when the sun reaches the highest and northern most point in the sky and marks the first day of Summer. The word āsolsticeā comes from latin and means the āsun stands stillā. It is one of the earliest astronomical observations made by humans, marking the change of seasons. People from cultures all over the world traditionally gather with family and friends to celebrate the sunlight, life, fertility and the potential for a good harvest. Often rituals include releasing old, stagnant energies and surrendering that which is out of alignment in our lives. As the sun illuminates our heart, mind, body and souls, it symbolizes ascension and rebirth within each of us. It is a time to focus, meditate and shed light on goals and aspirations to create more abundance in our lives.
