Chakra Balancing Through Gratitude

Holding the frequency of Gratitude is extremely beneficial for many reasons.  It lowers blood pressure and decreases stress.  It increases our mood and our ability to relax.  Gratitude also strengthens our immune systems.  There is a trick to it though.  It isn’t enough to just say that we are thankful for something, we MUST feel the feeling that goes with our thoughts.  In less than five minutes of feeling Gratitude, we can generate physiological changes within our bodies that can drastically affect our wellbeing.

The following chakra balancing exercise is meant to hold us in the frequency of Gratitude long enough to experience these changes.  I would invite you to pause between the energy centres, close your eyes and allow your own affirmations, Gratitudes and blessings to flow up.  Remember, it isn’t enough to say or read the words, we must feel them too.

Root Chakra

I am safe and secure.  I am thankful for a place to rest my head and for a roof and four walls around me to keep me warm and dry.  I am blessed to spend quality time with my family and friends and to experience relationships that have strong foundations.  I am safe and secure.

Sacral Chakra

All of my needs and desires are met right now.  I am thankful for an appetite that can be met, for food in the fridge, and clean water to keep me nourished.  I and grateful for the inspiration of time, to explore and create new ways of connecting with others, and also for the time to connect with myself.  I am grateful for goals and am happy to be setting them for myself now.  All of my needs are met right now.

Solar Plexus

I am strong, competent and kind.  I am thankful for all of the kindness that I am seeing in the world right now.  I am thankful for the kindness of others and I am also thankful that I too can be kind to others.  I am grateful for the will power to social distance right now.  And, I am so grateful that this experience is making me stronger than ever before.

Heart Chakra

I am loved. I am loving.  I am love.  I am so grateful to feel loved and supported right now.  I am happy to love others through this difficult time and to receive loving thoughts and messages from family and friends.  I am blessed to easily give and receive love in all ways.

Throat Chakra

It is easy for me to express myself.  I am so thankful that my ability to communicate is getting clearer as I explore new ways of communicating with family and friends.  I am grateful to have an opportunity to share my words and voice with people who are important to me.  I am happy to be learning how to speak gently, kindly and compassionately to myself and others today and all days.

Ear Chakra

I am willing to hear the truth.  I am so thankful that the world is slowing down so that I can hear my own inner voice and am able to honour the truths that that voice is revealing to me.  I am blessed to have the time and space and freedom to really listen to others and to hold space for them to listen too.  It is easy for me to hear the truth in all things.

Third Eye Chakra

I am willing to see the truth in every situation.  I am so grateful to be experiencing different perspectives right now.  I am thankful to have the time to reflect inwardly upon myself and my life.  I am blessed to see the unlimited and unharnessed potential that exsits within my being.  I am thankful to have a clear vision for myself and those I love.

Crown Chakra

I am willing to understand the truth of my being.  I am so blessed with an understanding that the world is healing right now.  I am grateful that Mother Earth can breathe.  I am so grateful that I too can breathe.  I am learning new things about myself and the world and I know that we will all be better for the pause in our lives right now.  I am blessed to shift perspectives and to know what is most appropriate for me in my life.

Soul Star Chakra

Above all, I am thankful that I get to be a part of this moment in history, to share my love, my talents and my gifts to those in need.  I am blessed to be a part of a movement in kindness across humanity and I commit to love harder than the fear, be kinder than the frustration and bring grace to the world in all of my actions.  I am blessed. I am thankful. I am grateful.

And so it is.
